Terms and Conditions and House Rules

All rentals are based on the availability of the Apartment/Townhouse/Villas with a minimum stay of 2 nights. 

A rental will only be confirmed upon the payment of a NON REFUNDABLE* deposit of:

Length of Stay Deposit Due
2 - 3 nights cost of unit for 1 night
4 - 6 nights cost of unit for 2 nights
7 - 10 nights cost of unit for 3 nights
10 - 14 nights cost of unit for 5 nights
15 - 21 nights cost of unit for 7 nights

 

All deposits are non-refunadable, and non-transferable.

Group bookings made 6 months in advance of the arrival date will need to make special arrangements with the management office with regard to the deposits and thier due dates. 

The balance must be paid in full 2 weeks prior to arrival at the property. 

Bookings made less than 2 weeks prior to arrival at the property must be paid for in full and monies paid in this case are non-refundable. 

The resorts reserve the right to assign a different unit of the same type and occupancy as the confirmed unit if the need arises.

Each apartment, townhouse, or villa has a maximum capacity of 8 people per 4-bedroom unit, 6 people per 3-bedroom unit, 4 people per 2-bedroom unit, 2 people per 1-bedroom unit, and 2 people per studio unit including children over 2 years of age, and is limited to one child (2 years old or under) sharing a room with 2 adults.

Check in time is 3 pm. and check out time is 11 am.

The resorts strictly enforce occupancy levels and check in and check out times. 

In the event that the occupancy restriction is not adhered to, the result will be immediate termination of the rental contract with no refund.

A safe is provided in each unit for the protection of your valuables. The safes have built in combination locks along with the key, and cannot be opened with the key itself. Both the combination and key must be used. Do not remove the key from the safe. You will be charged $US 10.00 if the key is removed and lost.

There is a telephone in each unit at Silver Palms for the use of guests to make local calls and international calls only if you have a phone card.

No illegal drugs are allowed on the properties. 

No smoking is allowed in the units. 

No soliciting is allowed in the townhouses, apartments or villas. 

No animals (with the exception of seeing eye dogs) are allowed on the properties. 

All items found in the units are the personal property of the owners and must not be removed. You are responsible and will have to pay for any damage that cause or any removal of items from the villas while you are staying there. 

Cannon Villas, Silver Palms and Chillin` are separate entities managed by the same company. It follows that the pools and hot tubs at the respective properties are exclusively for the use of guests staying at those properties, and guests may not trespass onto neighboring properties in order to use their facilities.

Pool and house furniture (chairs, tables, cushions) are not allowed in the pool and cannot be taken to the beach. 

Use of Pool, Hot Tub, and Beach: 

a. Children under the age of 6 are not permitted to swim in the pool or sea without an adult.
b. As there is no lifeguard on duty at the pool or beach, all guests swim at their own risk.
c. The life-saving devices (Tube etc) are to be used only in cases of emergency and not as pool toys. 
d. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the Hot Tub without an adult.
e. The pool and hot tub are closed between 11 p.m and 6 a.m. 

The housekeepers hours are from 8 am to 5 pm. Overtime is paid for per hour at J$700 or US$10.00 per hour.

Service charges are not included in the cost of the rental. We ask that you please tip your housekeeper when you are leaving. 

If you desire to invite additional guests to the property during your stay, this has to be cleared with management and additional staff employed at your expense. These additional guests will need to bring their own towels if they will be using the beach, pool or hot tub, and you will need to provide plastic plates, cups etc. for them. Their use of the hot tub and pool and where applicable the beach must be monitored in so far as overcrowding goes.

Cancellations and Refunds

All deposits are non-refundable. 

If notice of cancellation is given up to 30 days prior to arrival, and the booking has been paid for in full and provided that management is able to book the confirmed unit to another party then 40% of the balance (which excludes the non-refundable deposit) may be refunded. 

If notice of cancellation is given between 29 and 15 days prior to arrival, and the booking has been paid for in full, and provided that management is able to book the confirmed unit to another party, t hen 20% of the balance (which excludes the non-refundable deposit) may be refunded. 

If notice of cancellation is given 14 days or less prior to arrival, and the booking has been paid for in full, no refund will be given.

*All deposits are non-refundable. Should the properties be destroyed by hurricane, the deposit will be held by us and applied toward any future booking.
